Sex and the City Tour

A sexy weekend in New York

Night visit of the Empire State Building

Our first evening begins with the ascent of the Empire State Building. The night view from its observatories on the 86th and 102nd floors is quite splendid. The perspective of the city and its lights is most romantic. I advise all those who have never tried the experience in the evening to do so. In addition to the bright view of the Chrysler Building and Times Square, you can clearly see the Bryant Park skating rink in this season, which makes you want to put on your skates!

Empire Hotel in Manhattan

This 4-star hotel is located in Uptown opposite Central Park, close to Columbus Circle and the sumptuous boutiques The Shop at Columbus Circle. A pleasant blend of luxury and greenery, its prime location makes it an ideal place for a stroll or a shopping spree. There is also one of the 240 Starbucks New York cafés and a Duane Reade pharmacy just a stone’s throw from the hotel, which can be very convenient.

The comfort, amenities and design of the hotel fortunately make up for the narrowness of its rooms. A swimming pool and rooftop terrace are a plus, especially in the summer. In addition, the hotel has a nightclub that is very popular with New Yorkers, which offers free priority entry to its guests.  For those who like to be in the action and have fun until the wee hours of the morning!

The Sex and the City Tour

Like many other city tours of New York TV series locations, the Sex and the City tour takes us through several neighborhoods and businesses in the city. Passing through Uptown and West Village, it makes a stop at Magnolia Bakery, where you can enjoy delicious cupcakes without having to wait 30 minutes in line! Very girly and 3h30 long, it is intended for all fans of TV series who can understand English well.

Museum of Sex

The highlight of this sexy New York weekend is undoubtedly the visit to the Museum of Sex. Without being in bad taste, it welcomes its visitors in a trendy and playful setting, while remaining educational. The history of pornography is presented without reservation, but in a very instructive way. An entire floor is devoted to the sexuality of the animal world, in order to better understand certain human sexual behaviours. On another level, various erotic or even chaste gadgets, dating from the 19th to the 21st centuries, are on display. This is an original activity to do between girlfriends for a bachelorette party or even as a couple.
